The home of the Director General of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, was at the wee hour of Wednesday raided by armed men.
The armed men numbering about five break into Onaiwu’s home about 1am on Wednesday and carted away valuable worth more than N100 million.
Some of the things stolen by the gun wielding masked robbers, were trickets, two televisions, his phones and that his wife and children among other valuables.
Speaking with our correspondent, Onaiwu expressed shock over the development, wondering how could armed men, numbering about five gain access into the estate and raided his house and stolen valuable worth such amount and were not arrested.
He lamented that security situation in the country is pathetic, adding that if a place believed to be secure can be raided by armed men, how would Abuja environs look like.
The DG, who said he has not recovered from the trauma, noted that it was because of the grace of God they were not hurt.
