He, however, admonished the administration to up its game in securing the people as well as guaranteeing power supply in order to facilitate big-time business activities.

Speaking to journalists during an inaugural board meeting of APS recently, Chief Ukah said if the country isn’t secured, business activities will be comatose.

He said his group is coming to add value to the Nigerian finance space by offering top-notch services of individual firms in a merger programme that will reverberate throughout the country.

“If you go to the East today, the business people are involved in hotel and supermarkets rather than the usual factories to produce because of lack of diesel to keep such places functioning and for manufacturing to survive,” he said.

Ukah disclosed that APS would officially take over in the form of merger of the existing structures of Ugochukwu Ukah and Co. Nigeria, I.G Uwakwem and Co, IIC Partners to build on the existing structures.

The existing firms, he said, currently has over 350 corporate clients spread across the country and beyond, with notable presence in the United Kingdom and United States of America.

He noted that the firm is taking off in Abuja, Lagos, Owerri, Port Harcourt and Kaduna, saying: “We aim to achieve a national spread, build a strong brand presence and increase our market share by 15 per cent by the end of the first year of the merger.”

Speaking, the Managing Partner/Chief Operating Officer of APS, Mr. Kerian Onwuzuruike, assured that the firm would provide quality and excellent services at the cheapest cost, without compromising quality.

He said the firm would set new standards in accounting services, adding that integrity would be their watchword. “We want to create a niche for ourselves,” he said.
