The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), for Anambra central senatorial zone in the last general election, Senator Victor Umeh, has accepted the verdict of the Appeal Court, which upheld the victory of his opponent, Senator Ekwunife of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The Appeal Court had affirmed on Friday that Ekwunife actually won Umeh in the election.
Reacting to the judgment, Umeh said, “Today, the Court Of Appeal, Enugu Division delivered Judgment in my Appeal filed in respect of the Anambra Central Senatorial District Election conducted on 23rd day of February, 2019.”
