A member representing Arochukwu state constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon Lukeman Ukara, has said that the All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA), is not scared of either the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of 2019 election in the state.
Ukara disclosed this in Umuahia while reacting on the likely threat that the APC will pose in the forthcoming election in 2019 given the array of personalities that have now defected to it noting that the APC will never be a threat to his party, APGA.
Further, he said those in the APC now are the PDP stalwarts the APGA rattled in 2015 election and will do so over and over again stressing that there is nothing special about the so-called heavy weight politicians in the APC and went on to boast that the APGA is a party to beat in Abia State come 2019.
Also, Ukara maintained that APGA parades committed politicians that are after selfless service to the state and their fatherland and not those with selfish inclinations.
Reminded of his fellow APGA lawmakers that have dumped the party for either the PDP or APC, he said their defection will in no way affect the electoral fortunes of their party rather it will help them discover the moles in their midst.
He also pointed out that real APGA members will not have any reason to defect to the APC or PDP because his party is built on strong ideology and it is a party that represents the yearning and aspirations of Ndigbo.
Ukara, who revealed that their leader, Dr Alex Otti, is providing purposeful leadership and he is poised to lead them to victory in 2019 stressing that his party does not have to be worried of the APC or PDP adding that the other aforementioned parties that should be scared of APGA because of it is grass rooted party and has mass followership.
