APGA chieftain urges Ogah to be magnanimous in victory

The former deputy national Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) South, Chief Jerry Obasi Wednesday enjoined the member representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency Comrade Chinedu Ogah to be magnanimous in victory.

Ogah had contested to represent his constituency Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency at the last February 23rd general election against Ogbe but the Independent National Electorate Commission declared Ogbe winner.

Ogah however, reclaimed his mandate at the Court of Appeal.

Obasi while speaking to journalists in Abakaliki, noted that Ogah’s victory at the tribunal and Appeal court revealed that his constituents actually voted him and that the judiciary was the hope of the common man

He enjoined him to carry everybody along.

“I hail the judiciary for the judgment and it has shown that the judiciary is actually the last hope of the common man.

“I urge Chinedu Ogah to be humble in victory, to be magnanimous in victory and embrace his opponent Chief Lazarus Ogbe. The judgment of the Appeal court and tribunal show that the people of Ezza south/Ikwo federal constituency actually voted for  Chinedu Ogah.

“ I enjoined APC in the state to rally round him because as it stands now, he is the pillar of the APC in the state because he is the only voice in the National Assembly in the state from APC”, he said .
