APC youth hail Emir of Ilorin, celebrates 29th anniversary

The Progressives Congress (APC) youth North Central zone has extolled the virtues of the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, praising his commitment to peace, unity, and the advancement of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara state.

Speaking on behalf of the youth from the geo-political Zone, Hon. Zubair Aliyu Rogun, the APC Zonal Youth Leader noted further that since ascending the throne in 1995, His Royal Majesty has guided Ilorin Emirates with wisdom, grace, and a strong dedication to preserving the cultural heritage of the Ilorin people.

Rogun, the dutiful and energetic youth leader from Kwara State, said this in a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja on Tuesday.

It reads in part: ” We proudly celebrate the 29th anniversary of our revered Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs. His leadership nearly three decades stands as a testament to his visionary leadership.

“He has played a pivotal and fatherly role in fostering harmony among diverse groups, advocating for the growth of education, and supporting economic development advancement that have positively impacted the lives of many.

“As a father for all, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari embodied the values of integrity, compassion, and humility. His Royal Majesty has served as a bridge between tradition and progress, modernizing and upholding the rich customs of the emirate.

“His efforts have helped shape Ilorin into a place of opportunity, inclusivity, and cultural pride, earning him deep respect and admiration both within and beyond Kwara state.

“On behalf of the youths of North Central, particularly of Ilorin Emirate and all those who have had the privilege of his guidance, we say Alhamdulillah and express our profound gratitude to Allah for his 29 years of service and pray for his continued health, wisdom, and strength.

“May his reign continue to bring prosperity, unity, and peace to the people of Ilorin Emirate and all Nigerians.
