APC: Why Ganduje should call women leader to order – Benue women

The Benue state women wing of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken a protest to the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, asking the National Working Committee (NWC) to call the National Women Leader, Dr. Marry Allie Idele to order.

The protesters led by Benue state APC Woman Leader, Princess Nancy Awuese Torher, also accused the National Woman Leader of violating the decision of the NWC regarding the purported suspension of the Benue state exco led by Comrade Austin Agada.

According to Princess Torher, who led the 23 local government and Zonal women leaders from Benue state APC, Wednesday, said the National Women leader was recognizing an imposter as the state woman leader in the state.

The state woman leader declared that notice of contrary decision not to recognise her as the Benue state woman leader of APC has not been given to her.

“It is therefore shocking to see that the National Woman Leader has violated this decision by inviting an imposter to an event as Benue State Woman Leader, and recognizing one Benjamin Omakolo as the state Chairman.

“Allowing this breach of order to proceed will further deepen the APC’s  intra – party crisis in Benue State and could lead to the collapse of the party structure”, she said

She, however, called on Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje led NWC to quickly intervene and “address the issue by drawing the attention of the National Woman Leader to the excessive anormally and ensuring she aligns with the party’s decision.”
