Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) last night held a closed door meeting at the Imo Governors Lodge, Abuja, to determine who becomes what in the incoming government.
Some of the governors who arrived at the meeting included: Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Borno state Governor Kashim Shetima, Nasarawa state Governor Tanko Al-Makura, Sokoto state Governor-elect, Aminu Tambuwal, former Kwara state Governor, Senator Bukola Saraki, Kano state Governor-elect, Umar Ganduje, Ekiti state former Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Bauchi state Governor-elect and the national chairman of the party.
Sources at the Lodge told Blueprint that the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has asked the governors and the party leadership to come up with a workable cabinet list for him to take the final decision.
Our correspondent reliably gathered that the governors would also visit Buhari today at his Defence House residence on a congratulatory visit where they would present a tentative list of the ministers to him.
