Anti-Tinubu rally rattles Lagos ahead governorship, state assembly polls

There is an uneasy calm around Ikeja in Lagos where some political activists are staging rally ahead of the March 9 governorship election.

The group spearheading the protest reportedly converged at Oramiyan Hall in a hotel and is said to be working out modalities on how to confront National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, ahead of the March 9 governorship and state assembly elections.

Tinubu who was a two-term governor in Lagos state between 1999 and 2007 has been noticeably behind the emergence of subsequent governors.

At the moment, his candidate Sanwo-Olu is the flag-bearer of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial polls in Lagos.
