Anambra stakeholders urge youth to explore benefits of available opportunities

Stakeholders in Anambra state have urged youth to explore economic benefits of available opportunities in their areas of endeavours for self sufficiency and overall societal development.

The stakeholders spoke at Awka, the state capital, during the International World Youth Day celebration, organised by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) under the theme, ‘youth digital partway for sustainable development.’

The Anambra state Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Agha Mba, represented by the permanent secretary in the ministry, Martin’s Agbili, urged the youth to be loyal, determined and consistent in every legal venture they invest on.

He said Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration had initiated various projects and programmes geared towards enabling them to gain knowledge, skills, empowerment and other enablement to excel in life and impact positively on society.

The speaker, Anambra state House of Assembly, Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, represented by the House of Assembly Committee on Youth development chairman, Hon. Onyedikachukwu Ike, stated that there are opportunities in all aspects of life if explored.

Udeze enumerated some of the opportunities worth exploiting as digital, information and communication technology, agriculture and politics.
