AfroBasket 2025: Nigeria’s D’Tigress to face Mozambique, Rwanda in Group D

Defending champions D’Tigress of Nigeria will face Mozambique and Rwanda in Group D at the 2025 AfroBasket Championship.

The competition will be staged in Cote d’Ivoire from from 26 July to 3 August.

All the matches will be played at Palais des Sports de Treichville.

D’Tigress will enter the competition as the overwhelming favourites going by their impressive showing at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Rena Wakama’s side made history as the first African team to achieve the feat.

Hosts Cote d’Ivoire will slug it out with Angola and Cote d’Ivoire in Group A, while Mali, Cameroon and South Sudan are drawn in Group B.

In Group C are Senegal, Uganda and Guinea.
