African Court’s 75 Ordinary Session set to hold in Tanzania 

The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the Court/AfCHPR) will hold its 75th Ordinary Session from 11 November to 6 December 2024 at the Seat of the Court in Arusha, the United Republic of Tanzania.

During the session, the Court will hold a Compliance Hearing in(Application No 006/2012)– African Commission  on Human and People’s Rights v Republic of Kenya, the first of such under Rule 81 of the 2020 Rules of Court.

Also on Wednesday 13 November 2024, the Court will deliver judgments in the following ten (10) cases:

The Compliance Hearing and delivery of judgments according to a statement made available to Blueprint will commence at 10:00AM (East African Time) and will be accessible via live streaming in both English and French.

“For the Public Hearing, simultaneous interpretation will be available in Arabic, English, French and Kiswahili.

“The Court will consider eight (8) applications and deal with a number of administrative matters.” The statement reads partly.
