AFCON qualifier vs Rwanda: Play for yourselves, not for anybody, ex – NFF top shot advises Super Eagles

A former Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) and proprietor  of Gabros International FC,  Chief Gabriel Chukwuma(Ogbuefi) has advised players of the senior men’s national team,  the Super Eagles to play their  hearts out against  Rwanda in tomorrow’s African Nation’s Cup  qualifier slated for Kigali, Rwanda

In what appeared like a patriotic call on the Eagles, Chief Chukwuma told  them not to look at anybody,, be it NFF president , coach or any administrator  but see the match as an opportunity  to  display patriotism, sell themselves,  and build their future.

” I have seen the list of invited players. The players have beaten  Benin hands down. They have to prove that they can do it again.

Let them shame their detractors and do the nation proud”.

Chukwuma said he wanted them to win the two matches, so that when a substantive coach is  finally engaged for the team, he would not find  it difficult  to carry on with the team.

He urged the team to maintain the required discipline in camp in order to sustain their international rating as individuals and as a nation.
