Aduda commends Wike for appointing female FCT indigene as HoS

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCTA), Barr. Nyesom Wike, has been commended for appointing a first female and an indigene of FCT as the Head of the FCT Civil Service.

A former senator representing FCT, Philip Tanimu Aduda, made this commendation at the wedding of Joy Murna Obadiah, daughter of the Acting Head of Civil Service of FCT, Mrs. Grace Adayilo in Abuja.

Aduda, who made the commendation, described Wike as a trail blazer that has given a sense of belonging to the original natives of Abuja, thereby making them participate in the scheme of affairs.

While expressing appreciation for the uncommon opportunities given the natives, he said that this has gone a long way to heal some of the open wounds.

He described the Head of Service as a refined bureaucrat, loyal and dedicated public servant with the required capacity and experience needed to aggressively drive the public service reforms being carried out by the minister in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Senator Aduda, who was the father of the day at the ceremony, advised the new couple against bringing in third parties in their marriage but to always seek God’s face in moments of challenges.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Mandate Secretary of FCT Area Council Services Secretariat, Bitrus Lawrence Garki, advised the couple to love and cherish each other as well as guard against unhealthy habits that affect marriage institutions.

He reminded the couple that the marriage institution was established by God for sustainability and should be respected.
