As reactions continue to trail the recent exception certificate forgery against the Minister of Finance, Mrs.
Kemi Adeosun, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has stated that it was investigating the source of the certificate.
The Scheme, in a statement issued yesterday by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Mrs.
Adeyemi Adenike, stated that the Adeosun actually applied for an exception certificate, but never mentioned if she was given or not.
She said: “Our attention has been drawn to the issue of the alleged forgery of an NYSC Exemption Certificate by the Honorable Minister of Finance, Mrs.
Kemi Adeosun.
“Checking our records, Mrs.
Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate.
We shall investigate the origin of the purported Exemption Certificate in question.”
