The coroner inquest set up by Osun state government to investigate the causes of the death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke, has threatened to issue arrest warrant on the police Officer in Charge of Homicide and a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) if they failed to appear before it today.
The Chief Magistrate, Olusegun Ayilara, made the threat during the ongoing proceeding at the state high court, Osogbo, yesterday.

The panel also summoned the Osun state Commissioner of Police and the pathologist that carried out the postmortem on the late senator.
The Chief Medical Director of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Professor Akeem Lasisi, had on Monday told the panel that only the pathologist, Dr. Solaja, who carried out the post-mortem, could give detail of the result.
Lasisi said the O/C homicide and DPO Dugbe Police Station were inside the morgue with the pathologist when the sample for the postmortem was taken.

During the proceeding yesterday, the Commissioner of Police, Adeoye Fimihan, was represented by the Officer in Charge of legal, Abass Haruna, who said he could not give evidence on behalf of the CP.
He however promised that the CP would appear before the panel today (Wednesday).
But, Magistrate Ayilara told the O/C legal that the panel had directed the summons to the CP so that he could be represented, “if he is not available.”
He said “if the O/C homicide and DPO Dugbe police station are not here, I will issue warrant against them.”
