Adedeji urges Lookman to remain humble, hardworking

Switzerland based coach Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony has urged reigning African Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman to remain humble, hardworking and pushing- up for greater heights.

Coach Adedeji told Blueprint Sport that “Lookman has made himself proud, his family, friends, club, teammates .He also made Super Eagles to be  proud and the nation at large.

Coach Adedeji admonished other footballers to emulate Lookman in simplicity, dedication and perseverance to work. His attitude and lifestyle in and out of the field are worthy of emulation. He was brought up from a good family. Be always focus and be patience.

Lookman has restored the dignity of Nigeria, he enthused to our correspondent.

The former Stationery Stores player was unequivocal in support of NFF president Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau.

“There is a lot of improvement in the NPFL .We can now see teams winning away matches without any trouble.

“He also introduced some courses and CAF C License for our coaches, and Nigeria Referees are among the officials for the WAFU B U20 championships that will officiate, which is a good thing.

“Under Gusau, we participated in the Olympics with our female team, and also, Super Eagles got to the final of AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire though we couldn’t win and just recently we are able to qualify for CHAN with Super Eagles B, he has done well.” He concluded.
