Adamawa citizens laud UBRBDA assistant director on integrity, patriotism

Some citizens of Adamawa state have lauded the assistant director of finance, Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority (UBRBDA), Mr Abubakar Tela Suleiman, Tambarin Mubi, describing him as a star from the horizon with unwavering love for humanity, irrespective of tribe or religion.

In a press interview in Yola, the Adamawa state capital Tuesady, Comrade Shehu Yohanna, a youth activist, and Mr. Christopher Andrew Jallo, a politically renowned voice in Adamawa, described Suleiman as a man of proven integrity, honesty and patriotism.

Yohanna said his encounter with Mr. Suleiman was through the testimonies of people whom he has positively touched with his philanthropic gestures.

Yohanna, who resides at Hayin Gaba, a suburb of Jimeta, narrated how a woman showered encomiums on Suleiman, saying: “God bless Tambarin Mubi. This man will certainly go to heaven. He paid my medical bills and gave me money for food and my children’s school fees even when he never knew me. God bless him.”

When Yohanna sought to know about the man, she told him he was an angel that God sent to rescue her from death. “Someone said the man is working at Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority,” she said.

Yohanna, who marvelled at Suleiman’s generosity, said: “No wonder, the Emir of Mubi, HRH Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, conferred on him the Tambari traditional title. The title means a shining star of the Emirate. May I remind the highly revered Emir of Mubi that the shining glory of Suleiman is not only for Mubi but also for the entire Nigeria.

“This man’s story of kindness was heard all over the country. He is a good ambassador of Adamawa state, a wheel for development in UBRBDA. We are here to tell you that the youth see a future leader in him.”
