Adakosa hails NFF President on groundbreaking of player’s hostel, training pitches

The President of The Nigeria Youth League Cup, N-YLC, Robinson Adakosa  has joined millions of other well-meaning Nigerian football stakeholders, investors and fans in congratulating the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, and other members the Executive board on the historic groundbreaking ceremony for the FIFA Players’ Hostel and new training pitches in Abuja.

The project which is named NFF-FIFA Players’ Hostel, is a 68-room facility located at the heart of Package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium. It is a two-wing building with A and B sections, and has a total of 62 single rooms, four suites and two executive suites.

The project also has the construction of two new training pitches, a synthetic and natural grass, as well as reconstruction of the existing synthetic pitch. It would also have sitting terraces for spectators, two dressing rooms for players.

Speaking on the landmark achievement project, Robinson Adakosa disclosed that the project would go ahead to have lasting and positive impacts on Nigerian football.

“Let me firstly, congratulate all Nigeria football stakeholders, investors and fans on this epochal groundbreaking for the NFF-FIFA Players’ Hostel and new training pitches.

“This historic initiative, made possible through FIFA’s support and your exemplary leadership marks a major step forward in the development of Nigerian football. The presence of top government dignitaries, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives ,Rt.Hon. Tajudeen Abass ,further underscores the national significance of this project,” he remarked.

‘Providing world-class training facilities for our national teams will not only enhance performance at all levels but also inspire young footballers across the country. This milestone reflects the NFF’s unwavering dedication to strengthening football infrastructure and nurturing talent for future generations’ he stated in the statement made available to our correspondent.

‘As a league committed to youth football development, we celebrate this achievement with you and look forward to the positive impact this facility will have on the game in Nigeria” he concluded.

The NYLC  is an U-19 football club initiatives of Adakosa currently running in its maiden edition in the country.
