Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria’s Professor of Arabic Language, Professor, Muhammad Shafi’u Abdullahi has dedicated his award conferred on him by Morocco’s Muhammad University to Emir of Zazzau and Chairman, Kaduna State Council of Emirs and Chief, Alhaji Shehu Idris.
Our Correspondent reports that the award is in recognition of the Varsity Don’s contribution in Arabic Language development in Nigeria and African continent.
While presenting the award to the Emir, Professor Abdullahi requested him to raise a Committee at the Emirate Council level that work towards uplifting Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria more in order to compete with other Universities in the World like Muhammad University.
Responding the Emir congratulated the celebrant, saying “this award is not for you alone but for the entire people of Zazzau Emirate”
The Emir who spoke through his Palace protocol officer, Mallam Abubakar Ladan charged the celebrant not to relent in his effort in academic particularly in Arabic language
He pointed out that the Emirate Council was proud of him (celebrant) and would continue to support him.
