Alhaji Bashir Hamadada a diehard supporter of Senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani, who was abducted by uniform men about six days ago finally regained his freedom yesterday evening.
When our correspondent visited his resident at Alakalawa road, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, his family members said after he was brought home from where he was kept at the Nigerian Defence Academy, he was looking weak and tired and as such, his friends had to take him to hospital for medical checkup.
They told Blueprint that Bashir Hamadada, one of those campaigning hard for Senator Shehu Sani to return to the senate in 2019 or contest for governorship of Kaduna state, was abducted by some men in military uniform at Kubarachi road, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, and later beaten to coma before taken to a bush at Kakau area outside Kaduna Metropolis where he passed the night.
Before his abduction, sources said he had been receiving several threats from unknown people, warning him to be careful of the way he was campaigning for Senator Shehu Sani, including mobilising supporters for the senator or they would one day pick him up and deal with him.
