The years of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state have been described as blessed to the people of the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, made the disclosure in a statement issued from the public relations unit of the ministry on Monday.
Labaran said this at the celebration of the 62nd birthday anniversary of Alhaji Yusuf.
He noted that the gradual transformation of Kano to a mega city by the governor with exclusive attention to healthcare system indicated that Kano people were blessed with a focused and compassionate leader.
The commissioner reminded people that the governor has proven his love to the state since when he was the commissioner of works during the tenure of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, during which the administration.
He recalled that his ministry carried out numerous projects that changed the face of Kano state.
Dr. Labaran stated that since the inception of this government, Alhaji Yusuf hasn’t been dissuaded by internal and external threats from realising the contents of his blueprint of providing purposeful leadership.
He said, “It is worth noting that Governor Abba Kabir has been providing sterling leadership that changes the political landscape of the state.
“This type of stylistic governance, filled with sympathy, hard work and kindness endears him and makes him acceptable to the majority of people.
“The 24 hours of the governor are service to his people; he was all over, day and night, supervising projects, hospitals, among others, to see things for himself. Indeed, the years of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf are beneficial to all of us.”
