NBMA calls for action to better earth – Ebegba


Director General of National Biosafety  Management Agency, Dr.9 Rufus Ebegba calls for concerted action to  change lives and the world for the better. 
“Climate change represents one of the biggest challenges to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable.
Ebegba noted that the novel COVID19 pandemic has thought us that there is an urgent need to take climate action very  seriously as the pandemic has reminded us that humans and the planet are very vulnerable.
He added that all hands must be on desk and this is the time for all to address every unchecked damages to our environment.
According to him, the theme for this year’s world earth day “Climate action”, speaks volumes and it beholds on us all to take decisive measures that will make the earth a better place for us and the future generation.
“Man’s endeavors in science and technology should be explored in our efforts to address climate change for a better world,” he stressed.
