A total of 339 people benefited from the free eye treatment which was sponsored by Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria LTD, Friday in Lagos.
This is as 115 persons underwent free cataract surgeries while 224 persons had eye treatments.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nigeria, Lee In-tae, expressed happiness with the outcome of the Vision Care Eye Camp 2019, saying the medical outreach was meaningful to the good health of Nigerians.
The envoy, however, assisted some of the beneficiaries to open their eyes for the first time after their surgeries.
