30 years on throne: Suleja emir urges infrastructural development of emirate 



The emir of  Suleja in  Suleja local government area of Niger state, Mallam Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim, has  appealed to the state government for more infrastructural development in the emirate and initiatives that will empower the teaming youth in the emirate and the entire state.

The royal father made the appeal at his palace weekend while celebrating his 30th anniversary on the throne. 

He said: “I want to use this occasion to appeal to Niger state government to bring more infrastructural development to the Suleja Emirate and also embark on initiatives that will empower the teaming youth in the emirate and the state.”

He assured of his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the people of his emirate.

In his remark, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago promised that his administration will ensure the establishment of tertiary institutions in Suleja Emirate.

The governor decried the absence of tertiary institution in Suleja emirate adding that, “I will work closely with lawmakers from the emirate to ensure both federal and state tertiary institutions are established in the emirate to meet the educational needs of the people of the emirate.”

While assuring the people of his administration’s determination to execute people-oriented projects in the emirate, the governor also announced that the ground-breaking for the construction of roads in Suleja will be done in the next 30 days.
