Two teams will represent the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at this year’s FC Bayern Youth Cup Nigeria Finals after a total of 22 players passed the trials.
The one-day trial at the Area 3 Sports Ground drew more than a dozen U17 teams from across the FCT.
This programme is part of the collaboration between the FCT Football Association and FC Bayern Munich through the VOA Foundation.
FC Hearts midfielder Franc
is Daniel ‘Dada’ featured at last year’s Bayern tournament World Youth Finals in Munich before he represented Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
He has been specially invited to train with the Bayern youth team in April.
