Lifted by a 3-0 home win over Benin, the Super Eagles yesterday flew out from Uyo to Kigali for their second 2025 AFCON against Rwanda on Tuesday evening.
It was a chartered flight.
The Super Eagles plan two trainings in Kigali before their match. The first training will be on Monday morning and another one in the evening.
The Super Eagles will battle 2026 World Cup qualifying rivals Rwanda on Tuesday afternoon in continuation of the 2025 qualifiers.
Rwanda lead the 2026 World Cup with seven points after four rounds of matches, four points ahead of second from bottom Nigeria.
They forced a 1-1 draw in Libya in their opening 2025 qualifier this past week.
