There are indications that the country’s football governing body, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may settle for a training camp in Turkey for Super Eagles ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Earlier this week, NFF disclosed that they have scouted two training camp sites for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but will pick one for the team.

However, when Blueprint Sports sought the view of Chairman Technical and development Committee of the federation, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, his response pointed to the fact that Turkey, a close Nation to the venue of the global showpiece could be where Super Eagles’ camp will be located.

His words; “For now, we have not finally settled for the place where the team will be camped. We are still weighing various options. Talking about the country, Turkey is a good and nearby country. The coach will have to choose where he wants. Whatever he wants, we will oblige him.”

The three-time African champions qualified for their sixth World Cup from African qualifying Group B unbeaten with 14 points from six games.
