A group, Ankpa-Omala-Olamaboro United Front, has restated their conviction that Alhaji Hassan Omale is competent and the most qualified to succeed Mohammed Ibrahim Idris as a member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the All progressive Congress (APC).
In a press conference in Abuja by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Ali, the group recalled that its members had benefited from Alhaji Hassan’s generousity and patronage.
He said: “We are aware that pressures from different quarters within and outside the constituency are mounting on the gentleman to come out and declare for the seat, and the group admonished Alhaji Hassan hearken to the voice of the people, this is the time, and considering his philanthropic and youth empowerment programme which cuts across the whole state, the time to make that right decision is now.”
Ali extolled the leadership qualities of Omale when he was the state secretary of the APP during the first tenure of Prince Abubakar Audu and the pioneer chairman of the scrapped Ojuku local government.
“Besides, he has employed hundreds of youths to earn a living through his private ventures at Gango Nigeria limited. And above all he has a foundation solely meant to assist women, particularly widows and indigent students to further their education.
“We strongly believe that Hassan unique selling point is his accessibility, humility and generosity, he is a progressive who is selfless and with what he did when he was the APP State secretary, and pioneer chairman of the now scrapped Ojuku local govt, it’s obvious that all hope are not lost regarding good representation of the good people of Ankpa Omala Olamaboro federal constituency come 2015 Alhaji Mohammed Ali President.”
