Controversial 14-year-old lover girl, Ese Oruru, allegedly abducted and impregnated by Yunusa Dahiru, a,k.a Yellow, has been reportedly delivered of a baby girl in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Ese, gave birth yesterday at the Government House clinic, Yenagoa, at about 10.00am, with her visibly elated father, saying both the mother and the baby were in stable health conditions.
He said: “Yes, my daughter gave birth in the morning around a quarter past 10. The mother and the child are well. She gave birth to herself (a baby girl). We are very happy that she gave birth safely’’.
The teenager was in a junior school before allegedly eloping with Yellow, her lover boy, following which she got converted to lslam and ‘married’ in Kano where she was taken to, without her parents’ consent.
Yellow, father of the baby, is standing trial before a Federal High Court, sitting in Yenagoa, on a five-count charge of kidnapping, unlawful carnal knowledge and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Although the trial judge, Justice Ajiya Nganjiwa grant bail to Yellow, the accused person still remains in prison custody because he could not meet the bail conditions.
