12 feared dead in Kano auto-crash

No fewer than 12 people have been confirmed dead in a ghastly motor accident along Maiduguri Gaya road   Wednesday in Kano.

The accident occurred at Tsaida village near Gaya town in Gaya local government area of the state after a head-on collision involving two vehicles coming to Kano from Azare, Bauchi state.

 In a press statement in Kano, the  spokesperson of the Federal Road  Safety Corps, Kabiru Daura,  confirmed that about 38 people were involved, including 19 male and five female adults.

He said the incidence happened at about 11am at a diversion which resulted in a head on collision with the two vehicles.

 The corpses and the victims have since been taken to hospital for treatment.
