10th Kaduna Corporate League: FCMB maintain winning streak

 
FCMB maintained their winning streak in the match day two of the Kaduna Corporate League Cup, as three times champions, Fidelity Bank continued to drop points. 
FCMB continued from where they stopped  last week, with a 1-0 win over Sterling Bank, following a strike by Suleiman Zakari.


Fidelity Bank lost to Bank of Agriculture 3-1, Clement Agbo scored two goals for Bank of Agriculture with the third one coming from Temitayo Adebayo. Fidelity Bank’s consolation goal came from the boot of veteran player of the tournament, Christian Egbeji. 


Mohammed Yahaya’s brace led GTBank to a 4-2 victory over CBN in the third match of the match day. Joseph Oboh and Daniel Joseph made it four for GTBank, while Obadiah Orlando and Shehu Suleiman reduced the tally for CBN.

The table shows FCMB topping the table with six points, GTBank are second with three points with a plus two goal difference, Bank of Agriculture are third also with three point but with inferior goal difference.


Sterling Bank are fourth with one point, leaving CBN at the fifth position, while three times champions, Fidelity Bank are sixth on the table with no point.
The next set of matches will be played on Saturday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium training pitch, Kaduna.
