Nasarawa state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said 109 delegates from the state would attend the party’s
National Convention scheduled to hold in Abuja between today and Friday.
State secretary of the party, Aliyu Bello, disclosed this in Lafia, saying that all former and serving members of the National Assembly of the party from state were delegates to the convention.
He added that all local government elected chairmen and their deputies were also delegates and local government party chairmen and their secretaries.
Bello said all the16 members of the working committee from the state were automatic delegates, adding that three delegates would be elected from each of the 13 local government areas.
“The 109 delegates would leave for Abuja on Thursday because accreditation will start that Thursday and elections proper will be on Friday after mosque,” he said.
The secretary appealed to delegates from the state to exhibit maturity during the convention.
