100 days: Council chair lauds Buni on inclusive governance in Yobe 

The caretaker chairman of Jakusko Council Area of Yobe state Hon Umaru Aguwa has commended the governor, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni for what he called the inclusive governance posture of the administration especially in the provision and distribution of welfare packages as well as infrastructure in the state within the 100 days of his second tenure. 

In particular, he was full of gratitude to the governor for the attention the administration gives to his council. 

He was speaking on the sideline of the administration’s second tenure 100 days in office. 

Accept him, “His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni is a man of action and his missions statements always are about carrying everyone  along with youth employment, provision of good health facilities to the urban sub-urban and rural dwellers cross the state in which Jakusko local government area  is inclusive.”

He said, “He has done well by employing qualified teachers for us here in Jakusko Area council and within the various district heads in the local government area. There is also the provision of capital projects like portable water supply and maintenance of existing ones.”

He commended the governor for ensuring that people live in a secured environment. 

This, he said, the governor does by having regular security meeting with district heads, ward heads, leaders of herders and farmers in order to ensure that everyone lives peacefully in Jakusko Area Council.

Although he said there are environmental challenges, flooding and pest diseases, he said the council is poised to forge ahead towards helping the administration achieve its vision for Yobe citizens.
