FG recovered below 10% of PDP loots – APC stalwart

A front line member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sha’aban, has accused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members of massive loot of the nation’s treasury during its 16 years in office.
Sha’aban made the allegation in an exclusive interview with Blueprint in Zaria, saying considering the huge loot by the PDP, the Buhari led administration could so far recover less than 10 per cent of the total funds looted.
The politician, who is also an oil and gas magnet, further accused the PDP administration of subjecting Nigerians into serious hardship and crisis including the BokoHaram saga, armed robbery and kidnapping among others.
“The country is still where it is because of the attitude of PDP members who stole public funds; nothing is moving. The only way we can assist President Muhammadu Buhari is to continue to pray for him for the fact that some of those at the corridors of power are not helping him deliver. They only known themselves,” he said.
He further pointed out that the Boko Haram saga that is still rocking the country was created by PDP members to protect their political interest.
The traditional title holder argued that the defeat of Boko Haram alone by the APC led administration is enough for Nigerians to know that President Buhari s on track to fix the country.
Reacting to former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s open letter to Buhari on the 2019 election, Sha’aban described the letter as childish, pointing out that the former president did what he did because he doesn’t have the interest of the country at heart.
